  • Sarah’s Gift: Believing in the Magic

As a certified creativity coach and life purpose alchemist, I work with divinely-inspired artists and writers on their creative process, helping them sort through their many ideas so they can choose a project that’s fully aligned with their authentic vision. A lot goes into the creative process, from idea to planning to implementation to completion. And while it can be an exciting journey, it can sometimes feel like a lot of hard work. This is where inspiration comes into the mix. When we feel inspired, the creative process begins to flow almost magically – from beginning to end. So how can we take a more inspired approach toward productivity and creative manifestation, yielding to magical results? Today, I’ve asked my colleague Erica Tucci, author of the chapter book series…

  • Activating the Light of the Summer Solstice Full Moon

Last night, I walked into my home office to check my calendar for today’s schedule – and before I could turn on the light, this caught my eye. It was the full moon shining brightly through the front window. Her light was so rich that I just sat there, drawn to the bigness of it. This particular full moon is more than just a full moon. It’s a full-throttle welcome to the summer season – a time of celebration and light. And because the two are coinciding – the summer solstice and the full moon, it gives us a double-dose of light, inviting us to step into the bigness of who we are. So whatever it is you’ve been pondering or dabbling in, or even tapping…

  • Are You on a “Caterpillar to Butterfly” Journey?

On a recent walk along one of my favorite Cape Cod nature trails, I noticed a butterfly crossing my path. It stayed with me for a few minutes, eventually landing on a gorgeous pink azalea that had just bloomed. I began thinking about this butterfly – and the transformation it had taken to become one. It reminded me of a favorite quote by beloved poet Maya Angelou. “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” Every great transformation – whether personal, professional or creative – involves a process that isn’t always pleasant. There are many twists and turns, lots of creating and adjusting, and a necessary willingness to see it all through. It’s…

  • What Makes You Want to Pray?

How does prayer serve your life? How does it impact your creative process? I’m delighted to welcome my colleague Jennifer Urezzio to my blog today to discuss how simple prayers can transform your life. Her book, A Little Book of Prayers was recently released on Amazon. After speaking to thousands of individuals about their prayers, Jennifer noticed the same issues kept coming up. Believing that there must be a more powerful way of asking, accepting and claiming what we desire from the Divine, she created A Little Book of Prayers. This book is a collection of prayers that Jennifer and her community have used to transform their lives. And today, she’s here to share a bit of wisdom about the power of prayer. ****************************************************************** When…

  • Opening the Door to a Creative and Juicy Life

On a recent winter evening walk, I couldn’t help but take in the beauty of our lunar goddess as she began to make her way out of darkness and into her first sliver of light. It was a glorious sight! It was just enough light to see the definition of the moon in the night sky, bringing her out of complete darkness – but not quite enough light for the waxing crescent phase. It reminded me of those many times in my life, when I would peek my head out of that place of “not knowing” into the light of possibility. Getting a glimpse of the light, both inner and outer, always stirred an excitement within me. This is the beauty of the waxing crescent moon phase – a peek at what’s…
