    Like so many of my friends and colleagues, I’m going through some major changes right now, both personally and professionally. A lot is shifting within me and around me. It feels as if the energy of the old ways of doing and being are moving out – making room for new possibilities and opportunities. People are confused, frustrated, unsatisfied, and angry about this or that – and are desperately seeking answers to questions that feel puzzling.   • Finding Your Tribe

    Journal therapy pioneer Kathleen Adams writes in her book,  Scribing the Soul – “Humans are tribal people.” Yes, we are. It explains the human need “to belong.” And in periods of pain, darkness, and disconnect – it is imperative to make that connection with “one’s tribe.” No one understands a feeling or a situation any more than someone else who has been through it – or who may still be going though it. This is what “finding your tribe” means to me.
