Are You Ready for this Full Moon’s “Leap of Faith?”
Another full moon phase is upon us – and it brings with it energy of “forward movement.”
This is because it lands in the astrological sign of Aries – which activates our inner risk-taker.
When the full moon is in Aries, she gives us what we need to spring forward with a giant leap, even if it feels risky. Her energy can literally push us to the edge of our comfort zone, beckoning us to “take a leap of faith.”
And if we’re ready, and I mean REALLY ready, this leap could pay off in a meaningful and impactful way.
As artist and author Margaret Shepherd once said, “Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith.”
We all arrive at periods in our life when we sit down and reflect on the path we have chosen in life – often regretting certain choices and missed opportunities.
And many of us have made drastic changes along the way, trying to make a fresh start in life. Yet no matter what we do, we always end up feeling the same way. The outer conditions may be different, but inside we’re still the same.
So when and how does a genuine fresh start begin? And when do we know when it’s time to take a leap of faith?
Imagine taking an autumn walk and being surrounded by the colors of fall. You see the leaves changing colors, perhaps dropping to the ground. You notice that squirrels are running around, looking for nuts to store for the winter. You notice the flower beds are getting a little more bare. You can sense that everything is changing – in preparation for a new cycle.
In nature, there is nothing that is not continually renewing itself – and that constant renewal is out of the ground of what no longer is. Nature knows that in order to renew itself, it must completely shed the old.
If we want to make a fresh start in life, we have to put ourselves where a fresh start actually takes place – in our heart and in our mind. We have to truly feel the change – and really desire the change. And once that’s achieved, we make up our mind that, yes – this change is welcomed.
This is a deep knowing that often can’t be explained in rational terms. It’s what I call intuition – and it serves as a guiding light when one senses that a leap of faith is the next right step.
Superficial starts never last. You can fix the outside all day long. But until you go inward, the “fix” isn’t going to last. It becomes a band aid for healing what’s underneath.
Nature is constantly changing – without hesitation. It “just is.”
And like a full moon in Aries, a fresh start can “just be” if we allow ourselves to be fully open to it. And if we can give ourselves the gift of renewal – a fresh start can feel incredibly genuine.
So during this full moon phase, allow yourself to be fully released from the old way of doing things. And bask in the moonlight of self-renewal. This is a necessary transition toward making a real fresh start and it will pave the way toward a beautiful leap of faith.
What will be your leap of faith during this full moon phase?
Go ahead, breathe in the energy of this full moon and make your way to the edge of your comfort zone – and take the leap!

Taking a leap of faith is often what is most needed to find ourselves in a life situation which gives us more love and joy. Staring from that precipice is a scary proposition but once the decision is made to make that leap – we realize the Universe was there all along to catch us and move us forward.

Start anew in your heart and mind…..such a beautiful way to begin again. I always love your posts, Tina. The ones about the full moon are my favorites. I’ll be spending tonight on the beach basking in the moon-shine and feeling blessed. 🙂

Tina,
I love how you’ve laid out the idea of a fresh start needing to happen in our hearts and minds. I recently took action on a choice after I also felt it more fully in my heart and mind 🙂 It’s also our lesson you point out from nature that nature is always morphing, as are we.
To our leaps into faith,
