Full Moon Dreaming
For many centuries, the moon has inspired thousands of beautiful stories, songs, dances, paintings, and poems. Through its many phases, she has served as a muse in a variety of ways. What is it about the moon that stirs our innermost thoughts and inspires our deepest creativity? What is it about her that unleashes the magic of our dreams? The full moon phase brings a time of high energy and great sensitivity. It’s also a period of extraordinary creativity. Dreams (both day and night) are at their height during this phase with the potential to activate possibilities that you never thought were possible. As you take in the radiant light of tonight’s full moon, notice what comes to mind. How does this connect with your creative voice? And what within…

Finding Light in the Darkness
Like the moon, we all go through phases in our lives. We have ups and downs, we go forward and backward – and sometimes we seem to circle back around. We may hide behind the clouds or peek from beneath the clouds. But in the midst of what can feel like a blackout, when we are open to making a connection with our authentic self, we can get to a point where we’re able to beam with full light. Navigating Life’s Journey through Power Questions
As a certified creativity and life purpose coach for highly-creative and spiritually-minded women, I’m always exploring various scenarios with questions. I have an innate curiosity to know “who, what, where, when, why – and how.” This curiosity was instrumental in my early days as a television, radio, and print journalist. It also plays a key role in my current work as I gently guide women on a path of self-discovery as they connect with their inner voice and learn to navigate life’s many twists and turns. Asking “power questions” is part of the service I provide for my clients. It’s also something that I teach them to do for themselves. So when I found out about my colleague Sandy Nelson‘s new book, Ask Power Questions:…

Sarah’s Gift: Believing in the Magic
As a certified creativity coach and life purpose alchemist, I work with divinely-inspired artists and writers on their creative process, helping them sort through their many ideas so they can choose a project that’s fully aligned with their authentic vision. A lot goes into the creative process, from idea to planning to implementation to completion. And while it can be an exciting journey, it can sometimes feel like a lot of hard work. This is where inspiration comes into the mix. When we feel inspired, the creative process begins to flow almost magically – from beginning to end. So how can we take a more inspired approach toward productivity and creative manifestation, yielding to magical results? Today, I’ve asked my colleague Erica Tucci, author of the chapter book series…

Using Vulnerability as a Measure of Courage
Being a spiritual artist involves taking creative risks. We’re often putting ourselves out there for the world to see – through our words, our art, and our creative endeavors. Some will love our work while others may not. But that’s okay. We’re not here to please everyone. We’re here to serve our creative purpose in the best way we can – through the divine gifts we’ve been given. And in serving our purpose, we’re often relying on the strength of our vulnerability. As popular author, storyteller, and researcher Brene Brown says, “Vulnerability is our most accurate measurement of courage.” It takes a LOT of courage to be vulnerable. When we’re vulnerable, we’re shedding our exterior layers – exposing the rawness of who we are. We’re being real.…
