The Journey of Synchronicity

Synchronicity - FairyImagine being outside on a cool, crisp autumn evening, looking up above and seeing dozens of stars scattered throughout the night sky. They seem to be sparkling with a magical energy that you don’t quite understand, yet you somehow feel connected to it.

You sense that the stars “know” what your dreams are and what your passions are – and they’re beckoning you to follow your heart. They appear to have the answers – the answers you’re searching for as you begin to ponder a new beginning for yourself, either personally or professionally – maybe both.

As you begin to ponder the direction you want to take and what next steps are needed to get there, think back to the many messages that have been given to you from the universe. These messages usually present themselves as synchronicities, also known as positive evidences.

These synchronicities may be meeting the right people at the right time, being in the right place at the right time, getting an unexpected message that seems unusual, yet timely – or experiencing something that feels really right in that very moment.

I’m a lover of synchonicity

It’s my very strong belief that we’re always in the right place at the right time receiving the right message from the right source. It’s what I call the “journey of synchronicity.” Synchronicity - Visual Quote

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines synchronicity as “the coincidental occurrence of events and especially psychic events (as similar thoughts in widely separated persons or a mental image of an unexpected event before it happens) that seem related but are not explained by conventional mechanisms of causality.”

Synchronicities are always present – IF we’re paying attention. And when we weave them together, they have the power to lead us in a particular direction – toward a life of greater meaning.

Like the stars in the night sky, can you visualize your own personal constellation? Can you see where your passions, interests, relationships, and experiences begin to connect?

Can you see a path – maybe for the first time – that makes sense? Can you see how one experience led to the next? Can you see how one person led you to an experience that provided you with some type of personal or professional growth – no matter how painful it may have been in the moment?

We all experience life lessons in many forms. And we’re all pulled in a certain direction, much like a magnet – that isn’t always clear in the moment, but somehow feels like it’s the right thing to do or be.

Every single day, we’re traveling on a journey of synchronicity. And when we become more aware of our steps on this journey, magic begins to unfold right before our eyes.

Are you paying attention to the messages of the universe? Are you noticing how they’re being delivered to you on a daily basis? And are you consciously following the “dot-to-dot” path with a curiosity as to where it might lead?

These are the types of rich questions that we’re exploring in next month’s Moonlight Journaling Retreat – where we’re dabbling with 18 different journal writing techniques as we journey through the moon phases during a real-time 28-day lunar cycle.

Come join a beautiful and very sacred circle of women – and dance with your inner wisdom as you explore the various aspects of yourself, your life, and your relationships with others – through the art of journal writing.

Our next circle opens on Monday, October 12th. For more information, please click on the link above.

Synchronicities are everywhere – every day.

So take a deep breathe – and trust that the divine is always leading you on the right path. And invite fun into the journey – by paying attention and being curious about the next clues.

Here’s to a magical and joyful journey of synchronicity!

Isn’t it interesting that the dictionary uses the word “coincidental” to describe synchronicities? My personal opinion is synchronicities are anything but coincidental. It’s just too weird how things tend to unfold…I have a hard time believing it just happens willy-nilly…

Being aware of synchronicity is a favorite pastime of mine! I love the word and I appreciate how synchronicity works when we are on the path! Chance events and people seem to magically appear but there is no magic about it is there? Thank you Tina!

Tina, I am seeing more and more synchronicities as I grow in my authentic self. The awareness of this phenomenon and openness to it is powerful for manifesting the desires of our highest selves. Thank you for this article.

Great article Tina!! I love synchronicities, and I’ve been more aware of them for the last few years. For me, synchronicities are magical, like little miracles happening over and over again 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing!

Great post Tina! I am a big believer in synchronicity. Julia Cameron, author of the Artist’s Way refers to synchronicity often in her books. For me, part of it is being open and aware of what the Universe is trying to tell me. It’s also about trusting my intuition when it nudges me in a certain direction. I love what you said about the connecting the dots to see where they will lead. Today I am going to take a look at the dots, connect them and see where they are directing me. Thanks for the nudge Tina!
