The Gift of a Blood Moon Eclipse

Happy Full Moon Monday!

Were you able to view the glorious full moon eclipse last night?

Did you see the Blood Moon make her appearance?

Here’s one of the photos I took during my three hours of watching this magnificent sight unfold in the night sky. After several attempts, I finally got a good shot!

Blood Moon Eclispe

Blood Moons have been known throughout history as a good omen. They signal a big change or a significant event that’s just over the horizon.

When we’re standing on the edge of transformation, the universe likes to give us gentle nudges with whispers of “it’s time.” And it’s in that moment of pause that we’re invited to breathe it all in – contemplating the opportunity that’s in front of us.

Like the Blood Moon Eclipse, there’s a slow shadowing of what’s ready to end – with a transitional period of “bright darkness” which gives us a chance to really reflect on what we’re saying goodbye to in order to say hello to something else.

This “bright darkness” appears dim, but with a bit of color – inspiring us to believe in the miracle of possibility.

Then voila! The darkness fades out – and the light reappears, but this time with a renewed sense of energy.

What big change is waiting for you? What new doors of possibility are wanting to open?

These are the types of rich questions that we’ll be exploring in next month’s Moonlight Journaling Retreat – where we’ll be dabbling with 18 different journal writing techniques as we journey through the moon phases during a real-time 28-day lunar cycle.

Come join a beautiful and very sacred circle of creative souls – and dance with your inner wisdom as you explore the various aspects of yourself, your life, and your relationships with others – through the art of journal writing.

Our next circle opens on Monday, October 12th – in the energy of a Libra New Moon – which brings balance, sacred relationships, and the creation of beauty and peace to our larger awareness.

What a beautiful shot you captured Tina! Loved your post and how you explain that there’s a slow shadowing of what’s ready to end – with a transitional period of “bright darkness” that reveal new doors of possibility. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your wisdom! 🙂
