Gratitude – One of Life’s Greatest Teachers

Thanksgiving is just around the corner here in the United States – and at the heart of this national holiday is gratitude.

Take a moment, as you’re reading this, to reflect on what it is that you’re most grateful for in your life. Allow yourself to focus on any images, words, and emotions that capture this energy of gratitude – and make note of them in a journal or a notebook.

Now think about the parts of your life where you could use a bit of inspiration – to spark an even deeper sense of gratitude.

Even challenges can be inspiring when you take the time to examine them through a lens of possibility, seeing the lessons they bring into your life.

Are you able to see how life’s challenges can lead you to the next right choice – or to a person who can help bring more clarity into your life?

Are you able to see how these challenges help you weed out what is no longer serving you?

There’s a quote that I always share with my clients, “The life you live is the lesson you teach.”

Life Path - Lesson

Think about these words for a moment.

How has life brought you “teaching moments?” And what have you learned from them – and where have they led you?

Is life sending you messages of personal and spiritual growth cleverly disguised as challenges?

I’m a lover of synchronicity. And what most fascinates me about synchronicities are the possibilities that are available to us when we’re fully aware of them.

  • Do you want to understand the significance of the challenges in your life and how they feed your life purpose?
  • Would you like to see how all the dots connect on your life path?
  • Are you interested in exploring the possibilities that are available to you now?

If you could use some support in connecting the dots in your life – getting clear on the lessons that catapult you to the next great thing, then consider joining me in my Purple Possibility Studio which officially opens on November 22nd – the day of the next new moon.

Being grateful is a wonderful method of ensuring a peace of mind which I cannot assure otherwise. I keep a gratitude journal which I take time nightly to record my gratitude for the day. Any stress from my day generally melts away and I am centered. Thank you for the beautiful reminder Tina!

Thanks for the reminder on gratitude Tina. We always have something to be thankful for no matter what the situation is. I love your quote that you share with your clients “The life you live is the lesson you teach”. It makes you look more carefully at how you’re living and if it’s something you want to pass on to others. Thanks again.

This is an awesome line: Even challenges can be inspiring when you take the time to examine them through a lens of possibility, seeing the lessons they bring into your life. So helpful in terms of reframing things into a positive outlook.

Yes, the focus is on gratitude as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, and it is such an important awareness to bring to our life. Sure we can all rattle off a few of the basic things we’re grateful for. I love your encouragement in this post to look a little deeper, and to see the possibility that may come forth from a situation that we might not at first glance think about with gratitude.
